Back to New Braunfels!!! This time mom and I went down and met up with Angela, Manny and Xander and we took off for the Comal River in New Braunfels. We went to our favorite tube spot at Corner Tubes and rode the bus down to the river. I forgot my camera so no good pictures of me stacking tubes on top of Xander's tube or of everyone enjoying the cold spring water. Everyone seemed to have a good time. I swam a lot of the way. I love the Comal River! When I was a kid and visiting my Grandma, my firends and I would walk down to the River and float it without tubes early in the morning before the crowds came. Then Grandpa Max would come pick us up in the El Camino and bring us back to the house. Back then it was a lot different. There weren't as many rules and places like Prince Solms Park and the area around the chute were always full of people enjoying a lazy summer day. The river itself hasn't changed much. It was a good afternoon. Xander and I goofed off while everyone else floated lazily along.
Later on after work I saw a deer on my ride home. Then Mom, Kyleigh and I went on a walk around the neighborhood.
