After a super late start (Isn't that what always happens when your body thinks you are on vacation?), Ky and I headed out to Townlake (Lady Bird Lake). But once again we were thwarted. I didn't want to park where we normally park because we didn't have time to do the whole four mile trek with time to spend at the dog park. So we headed to Zilker Park to try and find the turn to Auditorium Shores. I missed the turn and when I found the exiting road-it was closed for some school function. Feeling as if we were starting to run out of time I made the executive decision to head to Red Bud Isle. For those of you who don't know what that is-it is a doggy paradise. Dogs can run free and swim til their hearts content on a peninsula in Town Lake. It is approximately a miles walk around the whole thing but there are plenty of coves for your dog to play in the water and chase all assortment of floating objects. Ky had a fun time playing with all the dogs.
