6.21.13 I have been wanting to go to Perdernales Falls for sometime. I think HCO has gone there a couple of times but I couldn't go because of work. I checked ahead and since it is a State Park, Kyleigh is allowed to come along. It took us about 45 minutes to get there.
We followed the park map to the falls but there weren't any. It seems the drought has dried up most of the water at the falls. It would be really cool to see them in full glory though. I took some pictures. The viewing area for the Falls was some distance from the water. It was hot so Ky and I went to find the river to go play in. At least the river was flowing some. It was weird because the water was warm. I am used to the spring fed river's like the Comal, Guadalupe, Barton Creek and the Blanco. Ky and I made some new friends. There were two ladies just hanging out in the water when we got there and later on there was a family with a bunch of kids. They were camping in the park.
