6.8.12 Why should I have to leave?

Took Kyleigh to Round Rock Dog Park. There was one guy there with his two terrier type dogs. We hung out and talked a little. Interestingly enough we were discussing people who bring aggressive dogs to dog parks and how it should be the owner of the offending dog that should leave when in walked a family with two dogs-one that almost took Ky's head off. The owners kept trying to explain that it was just protective of the other dog which is fine but my dog wants to say hi to every dog that walks in and she does it in a friendly manner. She doesn't understand yet that some dogs just don't want you near them. The owners did put their aggressive dog on a leash and their daughter walked it around the park. But my dog and the terriers kept trying to go up and say hi which led to some serious growling and snapping. The guy that had been there with me earlier took his 2 dogs and they went into the small dogs area by themselves. I had to get going to work anyway but once again I felt like I should leave if they weren't going to. I refuse to keep Kyleigh in a situation that has the potential to get out of hand.
