Ky and I went to Turkey Creek for the first time in a little while. Since there had been a lot of rain I was crossing my fingers for water in the creek. Well when we got there the parking lot was blocked off and there were signs up saying that it was closed. Although I tend to be one who follows all the rules, this time I followed all the people. There were 20 or so cars parked all around the area. Plus I had driven all the way out there...There was so much water!! It was awesome to see the creek flowing so well. I am guessing it was closed because the rain and flooding had knocked trees over blocking some of the paths. Also some of the places to cross the creek were submerged. We traveled a long for quite a bit. I would say we were bout a mile in when it was too hard to discern where the path was so I decided we were good and could head back out.
