7.4.13 For the Fourth of July this year we were a part of a neighborhood parade and then we threw a party of our own. Manny and Angela did most of the cleaning and I did most of the food prep and cooking. I played with sidewalk chalk and hung up all the decorations that I had borrowed from mom.
We had a great turn out! Even had a few extra dogs join us. I saw an old friend from Bellini's, Hodgey brought along some guys that were traveling across the country. Everyone brought plenty to drink and we had more than enough to eat. The baby pool was a hit. Even Ky got in to cool off. We mostly ate, drank and hung out. Angela took the kids over to Monica's for some swimming.
Afterwards Manny helped clean up and then everyone was gone so I took Ky downtown and we watched the fireworks. I love my dog, she wasn't scared at all of the noise :)
