Woke up this morning with a surprise visitor. I was lounging in a patch of sunshine coming through the crack in my window shade when I felt something crawling on my arm. I opened my eyes and looked over and there was a scorpion crawling on my arm. I screamed and freaked out -jumped outta bed and freaked out some more. I had brushed him off onto the ground. I unfortunately had to kill him. I don't like killing anything even if it is a creepy bug that could have stung me but it had to be done.
Since SXSW pretty much took over my birthday week, my family threw me my birthday lunch today at Hula Hut. I haven't been to Hula Hut in a million years. I love that place!
We had a great lunch and the girls brought my a tasty cake for desert.
Afterwards I went with Kelly and her friend Miranda to the free side of Barton Creek. We ran into some pedicab guys who work with Kelly's brother Myles. Small world.
